Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies. You will calibrate equipment and perform scans using scanners or scintillation cameras under physician guidance.

The role emphasizes radiation safety, patient care across all ages, and adherence to prescribed procedures in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Formación

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• CNMT/NMT or ARRT-R/ARRT-N credentials are preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• You will prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic studies, using a variety of equipment and following prescribed procedures.
• You will calibrate equipment.
• You will perform diagnostic studies on patients as prescribed by physician, using scanners or scintillation cameras to detect radiation and produce readings.
• You will administer therapeutic dose of radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a physician.
• You will follow radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials.
• You will provide care for birth to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
