Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine technologist to perform procedures under radiologist supervision with independence and initiative. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and timely completion, while maintaining patient records and coordination with nursing staff.

Responsibilities include quality imaging, exam prep, and training of new staff. This full-time role offers on-site duties in a dynamic health system environment.

Qualifications

• ARRT(N) or NMTCB licensure required.
• High school diploma or GED; graduate of ARRT/NMTCB program.
• Two years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment per specifications and follow safety practices.
• Produce quality scintigrams meeting department standards.
• Maintain patient records and coordinate with imaging or cardiology staff.
• Assess patients prior to exams with appropriate documentation.
• Meet productivity standards and participate in staff training and meetings.
