You will maintain records, conduct quality controls, and may support mobile deployments as needed. Candidates must graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program, hold a Bachelor’s degree, and obtain ARRT-N or NMTCB-NMT within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• ARRT-N or NMTCB-NMT certification within 12 months of hire.
• BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• English communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Orders and/or prepares the appropriate radiopharmaceuticals.
• Performs highly technical nuclear medicine procedures and processes patient data.
• Maintains records per Nuclear Regulatory Commission guidelines.
• Records patient results on proper media.
• Performs quality control on cameras, dose calibrators and counters.
• Calculates decay and prepares drug kits with precision.
• May drive Mobile Coach to rural facilities to perform duties.
• Daily exposure to radiation and potential biohazards; may work >8 hours/day.
