Essentia Health Virginia Hospital in Virginia, MN is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and referring physicians.

Educational requirements include CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine training or an internship enabling ARRT/NMTCB eligibility; current ARRT NM or NMTCB licensure is required; Day shift, no holidays, union ADIT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Completed internship in Nuclear Medicine allowing ARRT or NMTCB eligibility.

Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques. Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Education Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program

OR

• Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration
