Job summary

Essentia Health’s St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform nuclear medicine, PET, and CT imaging. You will operate imaging equipment independently and ensure high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and referring physicians.

The role requires CAHEA-accredited training, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB licensure, and an internship or equivalent eligibility. This position is at the St. Mary’s facility with day shifts and a competitive compensation range.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited nuclear medicine program.
• Completed internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for ARRT or NMTCB eligibility.
• Current ARRT (NM) or NMTCB licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques.

In This Role You Will Get Too

Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques. Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Education Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

• Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program

OR

• Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure
