Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform diagnostic and research tests, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and recording images using high-level imaging equipment. Responsibilities include:

• Performing nuclear medicine procedures and therapies.
• Participating in Performance and Quality Improvement activities.
• Following established policies, safety, and infection control guidelines.
• Adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Two-year or four-year BA in Radiology Technology followed by training in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT NM certification or equivalent training from an accredited school.
• Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTB) or eligible with exam completion within 9 months.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum one year hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Ability to accurately complete requisitions and operate equipment safely.
• Effective communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
