HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital in Lehigh Acres, FL is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team on a PRN/per diem basis. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radiopharmaceuticals with care, compassion, and respect.

Responsibilities include using radioactive isotopes for organ scans, preparing dosages, recording and reporting with MEDITECH, positioning patients, and assisting with transport.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited and AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program.
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Valid ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
  • Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 lbs.

  • Compassionately explain procedures to patients
  • Monitor, record and communicate utilizing computerized documentation (MEDITECH)
  • Assist with transporting patients as needed

Nuclear Medical Technologist - PRN/Per Diem

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Lehigh Hospital, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic technical procedures utilizing radiopharmaceuticals in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner.
