Job summary

Southern TN Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a PRN schedule. You will administer radiopharmaceuticals, process data, and provide high-quality images for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine, NMTCB certification (or state grandfathering), and BLS. Work with a dedicated department at STRHS-Lawrenceburg to deliver exceptional patient care in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or related program.
• NMTCB certification or state grandfathering as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology.
• Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
• Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.

STRHS-Lawrenceburg, formerly Crockett Hospital, is a 99-bed, acute care facility located in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, 85 miles south of Nashville.

We have been providing the best healthcare in Lawrence County and surrounding counties in Southern Middle Tennessee since 1974. We expanded the facility and services in 1991 with the addition of an Outpatient Surgery Unit, a state-of-the-art 24-hour physician-staffed Emergency Department, and an Intensive Care Unit. The hospital opened a 10-bed Physical Rehabilitation Unit in 1997, and a Women's Health Center in 1999. Diagnostic imaging services include in-house MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, X-ray, Digital Mammography and Ultrasound. The Rehabilitation Unit provides Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies. In 2009, a $5.6 million construction was completed which expanded the Emergency Department, Outpatient Surgery Unit and Registration area.
