Schedule: PRN

Shift: Variable - Flexible days and times. Primarily will cover call shifts, PTO and Sick coverage.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform radiographic imaging procedures independently, handle, prepare, calculate dosage, and administer radionuclides and interventional medications under a radiologist or cardiologist’s direction. Maintains records per departmental and state requirements, assists radiation safety officers, transports patients, positions patients for quality images, and assists radiologists as needed. Performs clerical duties, adheres to compliance and safety standards, and performs basic patient care within scope of practice.

• Performs quality nuclear imaging exams, follows radiation protection practices, verifies prescriptions, and administers radionuclides/interventional medications as directed.
• Maintains records according to policies and regulations, including equipment QA and safety documentation.
• Uses computer systems to start and complete exams, and ensures images are sent to PACS accurately.

• Associate degree from an accredited program
