The Nuclear Medicine Technologist produces images according to ARRT and NMTCB standards, following guidelines from the Bureau of Radiation Control, hospital policies, and the radioactive materials license. The role involves ensuring compliance, providing services with radioisotopes for diagnosis or treatment, demonstrating knowledge of human anatomy, patient care, radiation safety, and technical skills. The technologist exercises professional judgment and maintains ethical standards.
