Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nuclear medicine technology program.
• Medical Radiographer: TX license required upon hire.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification required upon hire.
• Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures to produce high-quality images and data for licensed practitioners.
• Calibrates and prepares radiopharmaceuticals and reviews calibration data for instrument reliability.
• Operates radiation detection and measurement instrumentation and reviews images for technical quality.
• Processes image data including function curves and reconstructed SPECT images.
• Supports quality assurance and training related to equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Communicates with physicians about procedures and patient care to ensure safety and reassurance.
