Job summary

Pride Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a leading healthcare system in Peoria, IL. This full-time, direct hire role offers a stable weekday schedule, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to provide high-quality PET/CT imaging services in a patient-centered oncology setting.

The successful candidate will perform PET/CT imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, ensure safety and HIPAA compliance, and collaborate with physicians.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Licensed in Illinois to perform Nuclear Medicine and Radiography procedures.
  • Current NMTCB and/or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT imaging procedures according to established protocols.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Set up imaging protocols, reconstruct images, and archive completed studies.
  • Adjust imaging techniques based on patient needs while maintaining diagnostic quality.
  • Monitor patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic imaging.
  • Educate patients about procedures and answer questions to reduce anxiety.
  • Observe patients for adverse reactions during and after imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and radiation safety standards.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and assist with clinical data collection as needed.
  • Travel between clinic locations when required.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
Licensed in Illinois to perform Nuclear Medicine and Radiography
NMTCB and/or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (No Nights or Weekends)

Pay: $32–$52/hour (Based on experience, education, and credentials)

Qualifications

Required:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Licensed in Illinois to perform both Nuclear Medicine and Radiography procedures.
  • Current NMTCB and/or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) certification.

Preferred:

  • PET/CT imaging experience.
  • Oncology imaging experience.
  • Outpatient imaging or cancer care experience.
