Beth Israel Lahey Health's Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist for Day shift. Join a not-for-profit community hospital within a large regional system, delivering high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities include radiopharmaceutical handling, safety, patient prep, scheduling, on-call rotation, equipment maintenance, and compliance with state/federal regulations. Per diem role with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.
• State of Massachusetts Nuclear Medicine Technologist licensure.
• BLS Certification; ARRT or CNMT registration required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, safe use of, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals and source materials with proper documentation.
• Reconstitutes, completes activity assay and administers radiopharmaceuticals per Dose Schedules and Authorized User orders.
• Demonstrates radiation safety practices to protect patients, staff and self.
• Wears radiation dosimeters and submits samples for bioassay as needed.
• Schedules patient exams and provides instructions for test preparations.
• Performs daily surveys and weekly environmental wipe tests; rotates on-call and backup for vacations.
• Operates and maintains Nuclear Medicine equipment and reports malfunctions to Director.
