Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem coverage in Englewood, NJ. You will prepare and perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, handle isotopes, operate SPECT/CT equipment, process images, and ensure quality control while upholding patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT or CNMT certification, NJ radiology licensure, and CPR certification, with preference for CT and IV certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience.
• Must be ARRT registered or CNMT certified and hold current NJ State Radiology License.
• ACR CT Certification is preferred to operate the SPECT/CT.
• IV certification is preferred.
• Current and active CPR certification.

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and performing Nuclear Medicine procedures, including patient preparation, isotope handling, equipment operation, image processing, and quality control. Ensures patient safety and comfort, maintains accurate records, and supports departmental operations including scheduling and on-call coverage. May work across multiple locations. This position is geared towards Nuclear Cardiology and general Nuclear Medicine. Dual license in CT is optional but preferred.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• Minimum of one (1) year of recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience; general and cardiology skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical schooling required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.

License/Certification/Registry

• Must be ARRT registered or CNMT certified and hold current NJ State Radiology License.
• ACR CT Certification is preferred to operate the SPECT/CT.
• IV certification is preferred.
• Current and active (CPR) certification.
• Maintains compliance with CE and license in good standing.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Minimum rate: $49.00 p/hr
