Job summary

St. David's Round Rock Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform radionuclide-based imaging and assist in diagnosis and treatment under licensed practitioners.

Requires Associate Degree, AMA approved radiologic or nuclear medicine program, ARRT/NMTCB registry within 90 days, Texas Medical Board registration, and BCLS within 30 days. Experience in acute care preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Graduate from AMA approved Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine program or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in an acute care setting as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed, pharmaceutical grade, radioactive materials to patients.
• Collect and document data provided by radiation emitted from human tissue using complex detection and analyzing equipment.
• Perform quality control on all equipment and radioactive materials in the manner, and at intervals required by policy and regulation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director or Manager.
