Genesis HealthCare System is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on patient care and safety. The role involves quality imaging, radiopharmaceutical management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Candidates should hold ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification and Ohio licensure, with strong communication and computer skills. Varied shift and a 40-hour work week may apply, in a supportive hospital setting.

• Registered by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine and state licensure.
• Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a dynamic setting.
• Proficient with computer systems and imaging/clinical information software.
• Current CPR certification.

Mansioni

• Operates nuclear medicine and related medical equipment for diagnostic/therapeutic procedures.
• Determines appropriate technical factors to produce high-quality images.
• Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals per standards.
• Adheres to radiation protection and safety policies.
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS to access and distribute patient data.
• Assists in transporting patients to/from the department.
• Educates patients and families about procedures.
• Contributes to training of students and clinicians as needed.
• Participates in quality assurance activities.
• Performs other assigned duties.
