Qualifikationen

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (nuclear medicine) and licensed by the State of Ohio
• Competence in diagnostic & therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures performed at this facility
• Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, facilitation, conflict resolution skills
• Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a complex environment
• Demonstrated computer skills related to electronic imaging and clinical information management
• CPR Certified

Aufgaben

• Operates nuclear medicine equipment to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Produces acceptable images by selecting proper technical factors for each patient
• Orders, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals per accepted practices
• Follows radiation protection and safety policies at all times
• Uses HIS/RIS/PACS systems to access and distribute information
• Assists in transporting patients to and from the department
• Educates patients and families about procedures and care
• Participates in clinical training of students and evaluations as required
• Contributes to quality assurance/quality control activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
