Qualifications

  • Accredited Nuclear Medicine program completion is required.
  • ARRT certification and BLS/First Aid credentials are required or in process.
  • CRT license in Florida and NMTCB certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Charge for all supplies used and code procedures correctly.
  • Takes on-call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
  • Prepare, administer, store and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals per protocol.
  • Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
  • Position patient and perform imaging procedures as directed.
  • Analyze images and address quality issues, re-imaging as needed.
  • Ensure radiation safety and follow officer guidance and policies.
  • Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient about procedures.
