Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Atlanta is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide safe, patient-centered imaging services. You will independently set up equipment, position patients, verify orders, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with department protocols.

The role requires ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification and BLS, with at least one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in Nuclear Medicine.
• Certifications: ARRT Nuclear Technology or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, and BLS.
• Strong technical skills and independence in completing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adjust imaging protocols to optimize study quality and report equipment issues.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and infection control compliance.
• Provide compassionate patient care, verify identity, and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Explain procedures and address patient concerns to improve understanding.
• Follow sterile techniques and venipuncture as required.
• Participate in quality control, study transmission, and documentation accuracy.
• Assist with departmental operations, including supplies and patient transport.
• Adhere to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
