Job summary

Tenet Healthcare Corporation's San Ramon Regional Medical Center in San Ramon, CA seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem, rotating shifts, including on-call. You will perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures with strict radiation safety and maintain patient care across age groups, under radiologist interpretation.

Requires graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program, California license in Nuclear Medicine, NMTCB or ARRT NM, BLS, and DOT within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
• One (1) year recent Nuclear Medicine Tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verbalizes and demonstrates knowledge of age-specific care.
• Performs nuclear medicine procedures per department protocols (PLANAR and SPECT) with radiologist interpretation.
• Handles and prepares radiopharmaceuticals safely and aseptically.
• Injects radiopharmaceuticals intravenously with aseptic technique.
• Assists in patient positioning and imaging parameters.
• Maintains accurate department and patient records.
• Performs quality control on equipment and reports issues.
• Participates in Imaging services QA and MQSA activities.
