Job summary

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced acute-care setting. You will collaborate with radiologists and the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality results and support image processing and transmission to PACS.

The role requires knowledge of radiology equipment, a JRCERT-accredited program, and current nuclear medicine licensure.

Qualifications

  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT or NMTCB Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) required.

Responsibilities

  • The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our total rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $40.65 to $54.63. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
