Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic scans under minimal supervision. The role administers radioisotopes, processes digital data, and ensures quality control.

Requires graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine program and certification (CNMT/ARRT or NMTCB, CMRT, TMB, BLS) with potential bachelor's degree preferred. Full-time schedule, Monday–Friday with no on-call and no weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nuclear medicine technology.
• Licenses and Certifications: CNMT and ARRT or NMTCB; CMRT; TMB; BLS (Upon Hire).

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean, orderly work area and ensures proper supplies.
• Communicates with patients clearly and professionally; verifies patient identity.
• Performs nuclear medicine exams per protocol and assists as needed.
• Trains students and may supervise staff in the absence of a supervisor.
• Complies with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
