Job summary

K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time permanent position in Alabama.

You will perform nuclear medicine procedures, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration, PET/CT imaging, and documentation, with emphasis on patient care and safety. Qualifications include ARRT or NMTCB registration, BLS within six months, ACLS preferred, and at least two years of healthcare experience; on-call availability within 45 minutes of radioisotope delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT or NMTCB registration.
• BLS must be obtained within six months of hire.
• ACLS is preferred.
• Two or more years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures including radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration, diagnostic and therapeutic applications, PET/CT, image processing, radiation safety, equipment calibration, and documentation of radioactive materials.
• Maintain radiation safety practices and ensure proper calibration of imaging equipment.
• Provide on-call support to the hospital within 45 minutes of radioisotope delivery.
