Job summary

Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont, TX seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform high-quality nuclear medicine exams per physician orders. The role requires proficiency in radiopharmaceuticals, compliance with RAM guidelines, and operation of PACS/RIS software.

Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program with advanced Nuclear Medicine training is required, along with ARRT/NMTCB certifications within 90 days and TX Medical Board licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology with advanced training in Nuclear Medicine.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB certification is expected.
• Texas Medical Board license is required; BLS within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine exams both routine and specialized safely and proficiently.
• Apply ALARA concepts to maintain patient safety.
• Maintain knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals handling, storage, and RAM guidelines.
• Operate nuclear medicine equipment and current software.
• Complete PACS/RIS data entry accurately and timely.
• Assist physicist and inspectors during surveys as required.
