Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Licensed by IL Department of Nuclear Safety – Registry eligible – CPR Certification.
• 1 year experience preferred in nuclear medicine settings.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and physician requests.
• Monitor supplies to assure continuity of patient care.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage.
• Perform planar and SPECT nuclear medicine procedures using gamma cameras.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and document doses.
• Maintain ALARA and radiation safety practices.
• Maintain accurate records of doses and equipment calibrations.
