Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Licensed by IL Department of Nuclear Safety or registry eligible; CPR certification.
• Experience with planar and SPECT imaging and gamma cameras; GE equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patient and physician requests; monitor department supplies.
• Perform planar and SPECT Nuclear Medicine procedures; position patients for high-quality images.
• Prepare radiopharmaceuticals; perform venipuncture and peripheral IV placement; maintain ALARA standards.
• Maintain accuracy of records; conduct daily calibrations and safety checks on equipment.
• Participate in on-call and weekend coverage; adhere to safety policies.
