Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech to apply imaging practices using radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment. The role involves managing radioactive materials, scheduling exams, reviewing images for quality, and establishing IV access with medication administration as prescribed.

This on-site position supports Mercy Health’s mission and patient care standards in Ohio. Required ARRT/NMTCB certification and BLS, with an Associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification or NMTCB certification is required.
• State licensure preferred where the job is performed.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees procurement, preparation, quality control, calculation, identification, documentation, administration, disposal, storage, and safe handling of all radioactive materials.
• Schedules exams and reviews images to determine diagnostic quality.
• Starts and maintains IV access and administers medications as prescribed.

Education

Associate's from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)
