Job summary

The Mercy healthcare system is seeking an Advanced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety. You will communicate clearly with patients and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine, completion of required clinical hours, and NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Sciences Program in Nuclear Medicine with clinical hours.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification and BLS.

Responsibilities

• Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment and software to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA standards in daily practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
