OhioHealth in Ohio is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to operate imaging devices, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and support quality control and patient care. The role requires strong collaboration with radiologists and physicians to produce accurate diagnostic data.

The ideal candidate will hold a CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine, an accredited degree, BLS certification, and an active license. Day shift, full-time position with comprehensive benefits and safety-focused practices.

Qualificações

• Graduate of approved training program in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Registered with NMTCB as CNMT or ARRT in Nuclear Medicine.
• ODH Radiologic License as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Familiarity with fully-equipped Nuclear Medicine department.

Responsabilidades

• 55% Performs scintigraphic scanning as prescribed by physician.
• 25% Performs image manipulation and quantitative studies; archives studies.
• 5% Prepares radioactive and non-radioactive materials for patient doses.
• 5% Performs quality control and maintenance procedures; ensures quality data.
• 3% Consults with physicians; shows images and provides data for interpretation.
• 2% Administers radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction.
• 2% Demonstrates patient empathy and provides education and care.
• Assists physician with intricate imaging procedures as needed.

Formação académica

Associate's degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology

NMTCB CNMT certification

ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification

BLS Certification

ODH Radiologic License as Nuclear Medicine Technologist
