Qualifications

  • High School Graduate.
  • One year full time work experience or clinical internship in an acute care setting.
  • Nuclear Medical Technologist: CA.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate imaging equipment (gamma cameras, PET scanners).
  • Acquire high-quality images and process data for physician interpretation.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort, follow ALARA standards, and document all procedures and radioactive materials from receipt to disposal.
  • Coordinate patient care with physicians and other disciplines involved.
