Sentara Imaging Center at Sentara BelleHarbour in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II for a part‑time, Day Shift. The role involves imaging patients, dose management, and education under a physician's direction.

Eligible candidates hold a radiologic technology trade school degree or a Bachelor's in Nuclear Medicine, with ARRT or CNMT certification and BLS. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Requires Trade School Radiologic Technology or Bachelor’s in Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Perform general Nuclear Medicine imaging under physician direction.
• Position patients for accurate imaging and demonstrate anatomy/pathology.
• Prepare, dose manage, and administer radiopharmaceuticals; operate imaging equipment.
• Explain procedures and discharge instructions; complete departmental documentation.
• Adhere to quality control/assurance standards per state/federal/local regulations.
