Job summary

Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, VA is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II for a Flexi/PRN, Day Shift. You will perform nuclear medicine imaging, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, dose management, and operate radiology equipment under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include patient education, documentation, QA, and compliance with state/federal regulations. ARRT or CNMT and BLS are required, with a trade school or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade School in Radiologic Technology or Bachelor's in Nuclear Medicine required.
• ARRT or CNMT certification required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform General Nuclear Medicine imaging under physician supervision.
• Position patients for accurate anatomy and pathology demonstrations.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals; manage doses.
• Operate radiology equipment and electronic systems; document procedures.
• Educate patients and families; maintain supply inventory; ensure QA standards.
