Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital invites applications for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist I. You will perform imaging and radiopharmaceutical procedures, interact with patients, and operate advanced equipment to deliver high-quality study results.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, elution/quality control, and teamwork within the Nuclear Medicine department. PRN on-call shifts with day hours, supporting optimal patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent.
• ARRT or CNMT certification in good standing.
• Current state licensure (RL) required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiopharmaceuticals preparation and QC with aseptic technique.
• Contribute to nuclear imaging and counting procedures per department protocols.
• Educate patients about procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain required documentation and record keeping for all procedures.
• Identify and report sub-optimal results to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory requirements for radioactive materials.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine

Two-year accredited Allied Health program

ARRT (RT(N)) or CNMT certification

Current state licensure (RL)

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
