CHS Career Site is seeking a Nuclear Medical Tech I in Indiana to perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures under physician supervision. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals, operate imaging equipment, and ensure radiation safety while maintaining compliant records.

You will collaborate with Radiologists, Cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Formación

• 0–2 years experience performing nuclear medicine procedures
• 2–4 years preferred in an acute care hospital
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist (state license)
• ARDMS/ARRT - Nuclear Medicine Tech required or NMTCB
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required

Responsabilidades

• Performs nuclear medicine imaging procedures and therapies per physician orders.
• Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals following safety protocols and policies.
• Assesses patient condition and verifies identification before procedures.
• Operates and calibrates gamma cameras and PET scanners for quality imaging.
• Maintains accurate documentation for NRC/state regulatory compliance.
• Handles, stores, and disposes of radioactive materials per safety protocols.
• Documents procedures and patient interactions in the EMR system.
• Collaborates with Radiologists, Cardiologists, and vendors to update protocols.
