Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging using radionuclides. This full-time role will operate on an 80-hour, day-shift schedule in Torrance, CA.

Required: AMA-approved radiologic technologist training, NMTCB or NMT certification on hire, California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification, and BLS certification. Experience requirements include 6 months in the last year or 2 years full-time with minimal absence.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• On hire: NMTCB or NMT certification.
• On hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification.
• On hire: BLS through American Heart Association.
• 6 months experience in the last year, or 2 years full-time with an absence ≤1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures and data processing.
• Produce images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Maintain professional judgment and ethical standards in patient care.

National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)

National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
