Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging using radionuclides. This full-time role will operate on an 80-hour, day-shift schedule in Torrance, CA.

Required: AMA-approved radiologic technologist training, NMTCB or NMT certification on hire, California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification, and BLS certification. Experience requirements include 6 months in the last year or 2 years full-time with minimal absence.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance in Torrance, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 80-hour, Day shifts.

The nuclear Medicine technologist provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis and treatment. He/she has the advanced skills to perform a wide variety of nuclear medicine procedures, computer processing of data and other technical tasks necessary to produce images for the interpretation by, and at the request of a licensed practitioner. He/she exercises professional judgment in the performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics while providing appropriate care essential for successful completion of procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in nuclear medicine (not required if recent graduate from an approved technician training program).
