Job summary

Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join the Nuclear Medicine team in Torrance, CA. This full-time, day shift position involves performing a range of nuclear medicine procedures and producing images for interpretation by a licensed physician.

The role requires AMA approved radiologic technologist training and relevant certifications; prior nuclear medicine experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved radiologic technologist training program.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology at hire.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification at hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association at hire.
• 6 months experience during the last year, or a minimum of 2 years full-time experience with an absence from nuclear medicine of no more than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures.
• Process data with computer systems and produce diagnostic images.
• Exercise professional judgment and maintain medical ethics in patient care.
• Collaborate with licensed practitioners to ensure quality procedures.
