Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for per diem day shifts. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures, collaborate with radiologists and other clinicians, and participate in quality control and call schedules.

The ideal candidate has completed an AMA-approved nuclear medicine technology program and holds current NMTCB/ARRT certification and CA state certification. BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation.
• Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board or Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Upon hire: California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures and related activities for pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
• Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
