Job summary

Ausrad is seeking a skilled professional to perform nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations in Austin, Texas. The role involves proficient venipuncture, providing excellent patient care, and collaboration with radiologists using advanced technology.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate maintenance of CEU credits.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites when required.
• Ability to explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety.

Responsibilities

• Perform all nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations.
• Check patient charts for exam referrals and instructions.
• Ensure images are sent to PACS as per policy.

Skills

Competency in nuclear medicine and radiographic examinations

Proficiency in venipuncture

Ability to provide excellent patient care

Knowledge of EKG set-up

Effective communication with clinical personnel

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program

ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification

CPR, BLS certifications

Tools

Radiology Information System (RIS)
