Job summary

Summit Health Management seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support the CT nuclear medicine department with radiopharmaceutical administration, patient care, and quality control. You will ensure regulatory compliance and safe imaging procedures while maintaining patient comfort throughout exams.

The role emphasizes accuracy in diagnostic procedures, adherence to HIPAA and EHR policies, and collaboration with the team to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree in Nuclear Medicine or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• ARRT Registration or NMTCB certification is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day patient flow in the nuclear medicine department.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals under supervision.
• Maintain compliance with CT state regulatory requirements and accrediting agencies (ICANL).
• Perform quality control procedures and operate imaging, laboratory and computer instrumentation.
• Explain procedures and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during and after procedures.
• Attend required staff meetings and adhere to HIPAA/EHR regulations.
