Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for day shift, full-time on-site. You will prepare radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and quality.

The role requires ARRT registration with advanced Nuclear Medicine certification or NMTCB, or graduation from an approved program with registry eligibility; you must enroll and become certified within a year.

Qualifications

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine.
• NMTCB certification or graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and registry eligible.
• If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate radiopharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
• Explain the imaging procedure to patients.
• Must maintain a high standard of imaging and positioning to acquire a quality scan.
• Proficient at operating the PACS Computer System.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the operation of the department.
