Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine studies, administer radiopharmaceuticals, and coordinate IP/OP scheduling. The role emphasizes patient education, quality control, and strict adherence to NRC and state regulations.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT/JRCNMT/CAMRT certification (or registry-eligible with 1 year to pass) and CPR. NJ-based staff must hold NJ license.

Qualifications

• ARRT/JRCNMT/CAMRT recognition or registry eligible with 1 year to pass
• NJ Nuclear Medicine Technologist License required for NJ-based employees
• Mandatory competency in clinical experience and didactic training under supervision
• Current CPR certification before orientation is complete

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine studies per department procedures
• Measure and administer radiopharmaceuticals; schedule IP/OP studies
• Educate patients about Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Maintain quality control on equipment in line with ACR and NRC guidelines
• Ensure safety in handling radiopharmaceuticals and radioactive materials
• Maintain hot lab and waste disposal per NRC/PA regulations
• Operate RIS/HIS/PHS modules relevant to job responsibilities
• Maintain radionuclide receiving and inventory processes
