Job summary

Qualifications

  • Certified nuclear medicine technologist with NMTCB or ARRT-N credential.
  • Experience in administering radiopharmaceuticals and processing exams.
  • BLS certification and orientation completed.

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties of Nuclear Medicine Technologist I.
  • Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and adjunct medications.
  • Assess allergy risk and escalate concerns per protocol.
  • Evaluate lab values prior to procedures and explain procedures to patients.
  • Adhere to imaging protocols and document deviations.
  • Notify health care providers when urgent clinical concerns arise.
  • Complete post-processing, image display, and transfer for interpretation.
  • Ensure timely order closure and charge entry; cover open shifts as needed.
