Job summary

Responsibilities

• Follows departmental guidelines for use of radiopharmaceuticals.
• Operates and maintains quality control for imaging equipment and assaying devices.
• Calibrates cameras and equipment per departmental protocols.
• Prepares isotopes for patient use and administers radiopharmaceuticals under physician direction.
• Provides patient education about procedures and procedures in use of radioisotopes.
• Maintains records of radioisotope use, storage, and disposal.
