Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform prescribed Nuclear Medicine procedures with safe operation of imaging equipment and high-quality image acquisition.

The role involves patient preparation, quality control, radiopharmaceutical handling, and collaboration with the department to ensure efficient, compassionate patient care. A Massachusetts NM license and appropriate certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Documented training and experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ARRT registered radiography or NMTCB CNMT certification.
• Massachusetts DPH NM license.
• SPECT-CT endorsement or ARRT Radiology (R) certification.

Responsibilities

• Collects information from patient/staff to ensure appropriateness of procedure.
• Documents all patient doses accurately.
• Prepare room and patient for procedures with needed equipment.
• Perform quality control on imaging equipment.
• Receive and document radiopharmaceuticals per state regulations.
• Schedule exams to optimize patient flow.
• Maintain professional appearance and infection control practices.
