Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Heart South in Alabaster, AL. The role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring image quality and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• Working knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and equipment operation.
• Familiarity with radiation safety principles and ALARA practices.

Aufgaben

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including SPECT, SPECT CT, and PET imaging as assigned.
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceutical doses per regulations.
• Document images and ensure accurate records for physician interpretation.
• Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and imaging equipment.
• Perform quality control and safety checks on instrumentation and evaluate IV access as needed.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and ensure patient safety and comfort.
