Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic studies and produce high-quality images. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort while following established policies and procedures.

The role requires graduation from an AMA-approved nuclear medicine program, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and current BLS. You will operate scanners, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and work under general supervision in a full-time

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of nuclear medicine.
• Registered in Nuclear Medicine with the ARRT or NMTCB.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in performing diagnostic studies in nuclear medicine imaging.
• Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns to foster comfort and confidence.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment to ensure proper function.
• Performs diagnostic studies including measuring and preparing radioactive isotopes to obtain diagnostic information.
• Identifies, prepares and administers medications within the technologist’s scope.
