Job summary

Novant Health in Salisbury, NC is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our acute care team. The role involves preparing patients and operating nuclear medicine equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree in nuclear medicine, ARRT or NMTCB certification, and at least one year of experience, with licensure and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2-year/associate degree in nuclear medicine; ARRT-approved or NMTCB-recognized program required.
• Minimum of one year experience in nuclear medicine.
• Certified and registered in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or NMTCB (RT(N) or CNMT); applicable state license required.
• Ability to complete competency testing, good communication, and able to work independently in diagnostic rooms.

Responsibilities

• The Nuclear Medicine Technologist I assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the nuclear medicine equipment in order to obtain diagnostic scans.
