Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to provide quality imaging support within a multi-disciplinary team. This role includes assisting Radiologists and processing diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will hold a current Nuclear Medicine License and have significant knowledge of anatomy.

Qualifications

• Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing quality imaging as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Assist the Radiologist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

Current State Nuclear Medicine License

Graduated from a JRCNMT or CAMRT accredited program

Current BCLS (AHA)
