Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in Central California is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to administer radiopharmaceuticals and intravenous radiology procedures, supporting diagnostic imaging and patient care. The role requires a diploma or certificate in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT NM or NMTCB certification preferred, and active state licensure with venipuncture IV certification.

The selected candidate will join a SEIU-represented team and contribute to quality control and patient flow.

Qualifications

Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine. Required.
Bachelor's Degree in nuclear medicine technology or equivalent. Preferred.
State Nuclear Medicine License. Required.
Venipuncture certification. Required.
Venipuncture (IV) certification. Required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Required.
ARRT NM or NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepares, administers, and measures radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies.
Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously for imaging or treatment.
Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation and documents results.
Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
Elevates questions or issues to senior staff as needed.
